I believe as strong women we can still indulge our girlie side and it's interesting to muse and ponder what some other women have found works for them. It is what it is, a funny guidebook for women who want to do something new - and want to know the basics about what to expect. It's depressingly culturually insensitive of people who say that doing things like eating sushi, or going abroad, or tasting wine, or throwing a dinner party for the first time are things we should already know about. Don't they know that a lot of us - especially people who aren't white and rich - don't grow up knowing this information? I'm in my thirties, and I still found it really helpful. Funny, too.
